Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with a strong background in IT Infrastructure projects within casino or gaming environments.
This role will lead the delivery of mission-critical infrastructure initiatives including network upgrades firewall/security implementations and data center projects across a highly regulated high-availability environment.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing enterprise infrastructure programs working closely with network security and operations teams and navigating the complexities of casino IT environments where uptime compliance and performance are critical.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects including network firewall security and data center initiatives
- Develop and manage detailed project plans timelines budgets and resource allocations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with business and regulatory requirements
- Infrastructure & Technical Coordination
- Partner with network engineering cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to drive execution
- Coordinate activities related to firewall implementations (Palo Alto Fortinet etc.) network upgrades and data center migrations/buildouts
- Oversee vendor coordination for hardware infrastructure deployments and professional services
Risk Compliance & Governance
- Identify and mitigate project risks particularly in high-availability and regulated casino environments
- Ensure adherence to gaming regulations security standards and internal IT governance processes
- Manage change control processes and ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders across IT operations and leadership
- Provide clear consistent status updates including risks dependencies and milestones
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between infrastructure security and business teams
Tools & Methodologies
- Utilize tools such as Jira Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet for tracking and reporting
- Apply Waterfall Agile or hybrid methodologies as appropriate for infrastructure delivery
Qualifications
- 8 years of IT Project Management experience with a strong focus on infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing projects within casino gaming or highly regulated environments
- Hands-on experience leading:
- Network infrastructure upgrades
- Firewall/security implementations
- Data center builds migrations or consolidations
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking cybersecurity and infrastructure concepts
- Experience coordinating with vendors internal engineering teams and operations groups
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira MS Project Smartsheet etc.)
- Excellent communication organization and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with casino systems gaming networks or hospitality infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with Palo Alto Fortinet Cisco or similar technologies
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI SOX gaming regulations etc.)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
