Job Title: Private Client Paralegal
Location: Towcester
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
Type: Permanent Full-Time
We are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Towcester who are looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid Private Client experience who is looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment. You will play a key role in supporting the department managing client interactions and progressing a varied caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting Wills including more complex cases involving property trusts and multiple beneficiaries
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Assisting with Estate Administration matters from instruction through to completion
- Supporting the preparation of Estate Accounts
- Managing day-to-day file administration and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- Liaising with clients providing a professional and empathetic service
- Supporting fee earners and the Head of Department with casework and administration
- Contributing to marketing initiatives where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 23 years experience within a Private Client Paralegal role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive reliable and able to hit the ground running
Desirable:
- Experience supporting complex estates or high-value matters
- Previous exposure to a busy client-focused legal environment
Benefits & Package:
- Full-time position Monday to Friday 9:00am 5:00pm (1-hour lunch between 12:00pm 2:00pm)
- 23 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays with an additional 5 days unpaid leave available
- 3 days of annual leave to be reserved for the Christmas period
- Holiday year runs January to December
- 3-month probation period with 1 weeks notice during probation increasing to 1 month thereafter
- Life insurance and Health Shield cash plan upon successful completion of probation
- Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution (Royal London or equivalent)
