Position Summary:
Join our team in Pune as a Senior Engineer/Engineer Compliance & Certification where you will support new product development for industrial automation solutions. You will help ensure our products meet global safety reliability and performance standards by reviewing designs conducting test planning and collaborating with certification agencies. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Review product designs and provide detailed feedback to design teams with respect to relevant global standards such as UL CSA FM ATEX IEC NEC and others applicable to industrial and hazardous location products.
Examine schematics PCB layouts component selections circuit analyses and FMEA documents to ensure compliance and identify any nonconformities; collaborate with designers to resolve issues.
Assess drawings manuals descriptive reports and related documentation for alignment with compliance requirements.
Interpret product standards (IECEx ATEX UL IEC CSA) and prepare test plans as required for certifications; validate these plans with internal teams business units and external agencies.
Prepare authorized test reports communicate findings to project teams and provide recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external test laboratories or certification bodies to support certification activities.
Develop compelling technical justifications that demonstrate how product safety features meet regulatory expectations.
Support CE marking qualifications including EMI/EMC testing requirements.

For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design including signal processing filtering and microcontrollerbased systems.
Handson experience working in laboratory environmentssetting up troubleshooting and completing electrical tests.
Approximately 6 years of relevant experience in compliance engineering or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronics Mechatronics or Electronics & Communication Engineering with experience in product testing and validation per international standards (UL CSA IEC EN).
Ability to conduct complex circuit analysis and experience working with Intrinsic Safety or related application standards.
Strong understanding of intrinsic safety principles and practical experience with Ordinary and Hazardous location standards such as IEC/UL/CSA 60079 series ATEX Directive UL913 and related standards.
Experience supporting approvals for Intrinsic Safety and Flameproof/ExplosionProof designs.
Working knowledge of certification requirements across electrical and mechanical domains.
Experience collaborating with certification bodies such as UL CSA Intertek TUV etc.
