Through our National Immigration Support Service (NISS) we provide compassionate culturally safe and trauma-informed support to people impacted by forced marriage living in the Australian community. We walk alongside individuals and families on their journey helping them navigate what can be complex and challenging systems and empowering them to reach their goals one step at a time.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Case Manager to join our Forced Marriage Specialist Support Program (FMSSP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex trauma-informed services particularly in the areas of modern slavery domestic and family violence and/or Child Protection.
As a Case Manager in the Forced Marriage Specialist Support Program you will provide intensive case management support working with clients to empower them on their journey to safety and independence. Your empathetic approach and strong advocacy skills will be essential in navigating complex legal social and systemic challenges. Engaging with families communities and services you will have a key role in raising awareness of the risks associated with Forced Marriage.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Milton or Springwood (QLD) office with hybrid work from home flexibility.
