Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armedin Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine vehicle and foot rounds remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with calm clear communication. Bring strong customer service teamwork and integrity as you document activity and support staff and visitors in a professional people-first environment.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal and location-specific procedures policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation access control support and coordination with on-site leadership and/or public agencies as needed.
- Control access at designated points by verifying credentials monitoring visitor check-in processes and directing individuals to appropriate locations while following posted rules and protocols.
- Complete timely security-related reports and logs document incident details and communicate observations and trends to supervisors and location contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Client requires proof of HS diploma and/or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge OR Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
