Senior IT Auditor, Internal Audit

The Opportunity: 

What Your Impact Will Be: 

Perform testing of IT general controls (ITGCs) application controls and automated controls in support of Mattels SOX compliance program.

Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key IT controls across systems platforms and business applications.

Participate in IT walkthroughs and assist in the documentation of IT processes risks and control matrices.

Assess controls related to user access management change management system implementation interfaces and job scheduling.

Support initiatives related to continuous monitoring automated control testing and data analytics to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Identify and communicate control deficiencies and work collaboratively with IT and business partners on remediation plans.

Assist with IT audit projects beyond SOX including cybersecurity data privacy cloud computing and IT governance reviews.

Maintain awareness of emerging IT risks regulatory expectations and industry best practices in internal controls and auditing.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance testing quality automation and global audit coordination.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For: 

**Required Qualifications:**

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Accounting Information Systems or a related field.

  36 years of IT audit or IT risk management experience preferably in a multinational environment.

  Strong understanding of IT general controls (ITGCs) application controls and SOX requirements.

  Experience with continuous monitoring automated controls and/or data analytics in an audit or compliance setting.

  Working knowledge of technology environments such as ERP systems (Oracle) cloud platforms and identity access management systems.

  Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills.

  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams across time zones.

  **Preferred Qualifications:**

  Professional certification such as CISA CIA CPA CA or equivalent (completed or in progress).

  Prior experience with a Big Four or large public accounting firm.

  Experience using GRC or audit management tools (e.g. AuditBoard Workiva or similar).

  Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001) and IT risk management practices.

  Exposure to data analytics tools such as Power BI Tableau or ACL/Arbutus.
