The Student Success team sits at the heart of our mission to support students as they navigate their early careersconnecting them with opportunities resources and experiences that help them reach their full potential.
We work across marketing content events campaigns and partnerships to engage students meaningfully through the targetjobs & gradireland platforms on campus and in collaboration with universities and employers. Our work is designed not only to inspire and inform students but also to improve outcomes for underrepresented groups and build stronger pathways into top employers.

About this role:
The Head of Student Success Ireland is responsible for driving student engagement and institutional partnerships within the Irish market. This role combines relationship management project delivery and campaign execution with a focus on increasing awareness registrations and participation in gradirelands portfolio of student success initiatives.
You will work cross-functionally with GTM B2B events and marketing teams to develop and execute market strategies run high-impact campaigns and events and champion our work to universities students and employers.
Key Metrics (if applicable):
  • Growth: Drive measurable business growth by supporting the launch and adoption of new products and services and aligning GTM activity with market needs. For example product launch readiness and student acquisition impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster high-quality engagement with university partners external stakeholders and internal teams to facilitate further collaboration streamlined delivery and enhanced outcomes. E.g. Strategic partnership outcomes.
  • Marketing impact: Align B2B and B2C marketing activity to pipeline and engagement goals ensuring campaigns drive awareness adoption and performance across both student and employer audiences. E.g. Campaign ROI Student engagement rate % sales enablement.
  • Strategic Influence: Contribute to organisational planning and decision-making through clear communication of KPIs performance dashboards and actionable insight across student success operations and growth initiatives. E.g. Feeback loop integration KPI reporting cadence.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely and effective delivery of strategic initiatives by leading internal processes reporting cadence and project coordination across teams. e.g. Project delivery rate process improvement impact.

Outcomes



Build and maintain strong partnerships with university teams faculties and services that drive the adoption of targetjobs and gradireland.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Irish and UK universities career services and faculties to drive student registrations and long-term collaboration.
  • Host community-building activities such as Q&A sessions group discussions and partner events to foster connections and collaboration.
  • Represent GTI targetjobs and gradireland in forums such as AHECS (Lunch & Learn series Regional AHECS gatherings meetings etc.) managing strategic partnerships and institutional alignment.
Manage and develop strategic partnerships to enhance GTIs market position.
  • Oversee the strategic delivery and impact of the AHECS partnership. Ensuring alignment with GTIs commercial and engagement goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery against partnership commitments.
  • Collaborate with key bodies (ISME ACCA Ibec SFA regional SME groups) to expand our influence and identify opportunities for new alliances community partnerships and institutional collaborations that extend the reach and value of our services.

Support the leadership of student success and the student voice across our product and services ecosystem including marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a senior voice for Irish students within the broader GTI ecosystem contributing user insight student data and qualitative feedback to influence new product and service development.
  • Lead market-fit testing in Ireland for new student-facing services including overseeing pilots gathering feedback and advising on regional adaptation.
  • Represent the Irish market in student user testing cycles and work with the Head of Student Success to report on product engagement acquisition trends and service performance.
  • Define and design a student engagement strategy that aligns with key lifecycle moments university objectives and GTIs commercial growth goals.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of publications ensuring timely distribution and alignment with student campaign priorities and content strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across multiple channels to ensure consistency reach and impact.
Student-Facing Events and Programmes are delivered to a high standard.
  • Lead the delivery of key initiatives like the Peers in Careers conference and support student events and awards working with internal teams to drive university participation and event success.
  • Work with GTM and B2B teams to identify new engagement formats and growth opportunities in the Irish market.
  • All assigned internal and external gradireland events (in-person hybrid and virtual) are delivered to a consistently high standard through structured planning strong supplier management and seamless on-site execution.
  • Events are executed in alignment with agreed engagement and commercial objectives.
  • Comprehensive pre- during- and post-event plans are in place with clear stakeholder communication risk management and documented learnings embedded into future delivery.
  • Each event demonstrably delivers value for students employers and the wider business.
  • Conceptualise and develop innovative commercially viable events and programmes that resonate with student and Gen-Z audiences blending creative thinking with market insight to drive engagement and revenue growth.
Ireland-Specific Digital Products and B2B Events are delivered to an exceptional level.
  • Lead planning and delivery of flagship events such as Breakfast News and the Annual gradireland Awards including speaker management judging partner comms and GTM coordination. Supported by the events team.
  • Lead operational readiness for Ireland-specific digital products and B2B offerings. Ensure cross-functional coordination across relevant teams to deliver high-impact campaigns and product adoption
  • Support internal coordination of campaign timelines GTM enablement and performance tracking across key student success products.

Person Specification


  • A confident relationship builder with experience working directly with universities or public sector organisations.
  • Strong understanding of the higher education landscape (with a particular focus on the Irish market) career services and student engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills able to work cross-functionally and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organised data-literate and confident managing multiple projects across teams
  • Passionate about improving student outcomes and enabling more equitable access to opportunities.
Work Experience Knowledge & Skills.
  • Experience working in a university partnership student engagement or education delivery role in Ireland.
  • Proven record of managing and reporting on multi-stakeholder programmes ideally in an education or early careers setting.
  • Skilled in CRM tools (e.g. Zoho) marketing execution and event/project management.
  • Comfortable working with data and insight to inform decisions and represent user needs.
  • Experience with regional student marketing faculty relations or student union engagement is a strong plus.

Other Information


  • Permanent role 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm.
  • 3-month probationary period.
