Job Summary
Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Communication - The student analyst will learn life skills by being required to sync up with their analyst weekly to present an executive summary on the competitive intelligence findings. Critical Thinking The student analyst will be tasked with researching analyzing and summarizing data based on predetermined criteria and how it affects Fortune 50 and 500 companies. Professionalism The student analyst will be mentored to learn professionalism by interacting with supervisors teammates and other community members. Students with business and entrepreneur interests with critical thinking and writing skills. The IHACK project will require both the ability to work independently and with the customer team of professionals. There will be opportunities to utilize business methodologies critically think through available information to identify key pieces of information and complete the work under a daily deadline.
Physical Demands
Able to work through a VPN for up to one hour at a time. Able to sync up with the customer at a set time every other day.
Required Qualifications
A Gannon University Undergraduate student. Above average computer fluency Able to read business articles and critically evaluate the content of the articles Exceptional writing skills should an interview take place a writing sample may be required
Preferred Qualifications
Able to manage time and meet daily deadlines Good communications skills Have a computer Able to be efficient with the job requirements
