Purpose of the Position:
The Learning and Enablement Specialist Student Success is responsible for training and enabling employees and leaders who support the student lifecycle with a focus on registrar operations and student persistence. This position will serve as a subject matter expert in registrar and student persistence practices while also designing and delivering training that helps teams understand expectations apply processes correctly and support consistent high-quality student experiences. This position will work closely with campus and functional teams to ensure people are well trained confident in their work and able to apply enterprise standards and frameworks in day-to-day operations.
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver training for employees and leaders related to student success registrar processes and student persistence practices
- Facilitate live training sessions workshops and working sessions for campus and functional teams
- Provide follow-up support to reinforce learning and application
- Design adapt and maintain training materials job aids guides and reference tools
- Translate complex processes policies and requirements into clear usable learning content
- Ensure training materials align with enterprise standards systems and expectations
- Serve as a trusted subject matter expert in registrar operations and student persistence
- Answer operational questions and provide guidance grounded in both functional expertise and enterprise expectations
- Stay current on registrar requirements student records processes and student persistence practices
- Support leaders and teams in applying requirements accurately and consistently
- Support rollout of new programs tools systems or process changes impacting student success
- Help teams apply training to real-world student scenarios
- Identify common issues risks or points of confusion and help resolve or escalate them
- Partner with campus leaders functional leaders and enablement peers to understand training needs
- Gather feedback on training effectiveness and operational challenges
- Share insights with the Director of Capability and Enablement Operations and central partners to inform improvements to training and enablement approaches
Qualifications :
Education Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in registrar operations student persistence student services or closely related areas
- Strong working knowledge of student records enrollment processes and persistence-related practices
- Experience delivering training or supporting employees through process or system changes
- Ability to explain complex or technical information clearly to diverse audiences
Preferred Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in higher education or regulated environments
- Experience designing training materials job aids or operational guides
- Experience facilitating training for frontline staff managers and leaders
- Familiarity with student information systems and data-driven student support practices
