Quality Control Inspector (QCI) Lead

Overview

The QCI lead and quality personnel is responsible for the verification examination testing and audit activities have direct access to a level of management necessary to ensure that appropriate quality assurance and quality control actions are implemented. The QCI lead is responsible

Your role

• To support Project team on all matters pertaining to quality.

• To report conditions affecting quality to the Project Quality Manager.

• To manage the Quality Team reporting into him/her.

• To assist with planning establishing documenting and maintaining the Project Quality Assurance Plan.

• To assist with directing the performance of internal and external quality audits including audits and assessments conducted on suppliers.

• To assist with the indoctrination and training of project management and staff as defined in the Project Execution Plan and Project Quality Assurance Plan

About you

• Mechanical Engineering Diploma with practical experience in the nuclear field

• Minimum of 8 years practical working experience in a relevant nuclear field

• Working knowledge of CSA N 285.0 CSA N 299 series and CSA N286-12 and ASME codes

• Excellent knowledge and practical experience of NDE welding and other special processes

• Advanced computing skills and functionality with standard Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint)
