Role description:

At Arcadis we want to ensure our readiness to consistently deliver quality service to our clients. Our Buildings Design business has a growing pipeline of work which has created an opportunity for a Technical Director to join our national team and lead complex projects across stations commercial health education research and transport sectors.

We are looking for proactive client-focused team members with a track record in delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects in these sectors. Your role will be to support our continued growth through the development of strong client relationships and project delivery capability.

Role accountabilities:

Providing both leadership and specialist technical guidance direction and overview of the day-to-day delivery of structural engineering designs as well as meeting agreed budgetary quality safety and timeframe targets
Development of new business from existing and new clients
Overview and technical leadership to a team on major projects ensuring the highest level of innovation and quality
Close interaction with other business units within Arcadis on multi-disciplinary projects
Project/commercial management of multiple technical engineering projects
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders throughout the proposal and design process.

Qualifications & Experience:

Extensive consulting experience across projects of significant scale and/or complexity
Relevant engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation
Passion for engineering and delivering exceptional outcomes to clients
Understanding and an appetite for digital development and innovation
Commitment to technical excellence ongoing learning and development.
