Position Details

Employment Type: Part-time (20 - 29 hours per week)
Schedule: 12:30pm 8:30pm everyweekend
Pay: Starting at$14.00/hour plus shift differential
Perks: Free meals provided on every shift

Key Responsibilities

Prepare beverages cereals breads salads and desserts according to menu plans and dietary needs
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all dietary areas including dishwashing and storage
Set up carts dining areas and staff dining room for meal service
Follow oral and written instructions including recipes and meal orders
Handle and store food safely label and date leftovers and replenish supplies
Attend training classes and implement new skills as needed
Interact positively with residents family members and staff
Follow all health safety and facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Some high school coursework diploma or GED preferred
Experience in food service is a plus but not required we provide on-the-job training!
Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail
Physical ability to stand walk lift (up to 25 lbs) and perform cleaning duties
Patience compassion and a desire to serve the elderly community
Ability to work in varying temperatures and with cleaning chemicals
Must be free from infectious diseases
