Job Purpose and Impact

TheGlobal Talent & Development Leaderprovides strategic talent advisoryforone ofCargillsbusiness a recognized subject matter expert in the fieldof talent management this job guides strategic talent initiatives to ensuretimelyand effectiveimplementationdeploysannual cycle talent processes with key leadership teamsandensuresconnectivitybetween talent development and business strategy.

Key Accountabilities

  • TALENT STRATEGY:Leads analysis ofbusiness strategy implicationsfor talentproactivelyassesses current talent pipelines tosurfacegapsidentifiescritical talent segmentsdevelops solutionsto close talent gapswith HR COE partnersembeds inclusive practicesthrough allprocessesand regularly benchmarks talent outcomes against industrystandards. Partners across enterprises to align solutionsas needed.

  • ANNUAL TALENT PROCESSES:Aligned with global guidance deploys key processes toenterprise leadership teamincluding but not limited to:performance calibration talent reviewsculture and engagementsurvey analysisandinsightsquarterly business review(organization andtalent input)executivereviews(2x2s);Conducts analysis of representationoutcomesforall processesand makes recommendations to improve outcomes;Providesdeploymentadvisory to group-level HRbusiness partners; Shares business feedback on processes withcenter of expertise partners.

  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Partnerswithexecutivestakeholders (including business segment headsand theirHRbusinesspartners)across a complex landscape to advanceinitiatives and deliverresults;demonstratessystemsthinkingand considers impacts across practices groups and enterprises;works withHR business partners andcenters of expertiseas well asbusiness leaders todeliver outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimumrequirementof8 years ofrelevantexperienceinglobal talent management.

  • Strongconsulting skills:anticipatingstakeholder needs proactively finding solutions managing competing interests whilemaintainingproductive working relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of total work experience

  • Masters degree or other post-secondary degree

  • Human resources certificate
