DescriptionThe Shift Lead plays a key role in supporting daily operations across all departments by removing barriers improving workflow and ensuring results are achieved. This role works collaboratively on objectives while operating independently to drive execution. You will support employees maintain high standards of accuracy and help create an environment where everyone can succeed.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Engage and direct hourly employees to ensure work is completed safely accurately and on time.
- Provide clear feedback to reinforce successes and offer coaching when improvement is needed.
- Assist in training team members to ensure they understand processes expectations and work standards.
- Monitor balance and adjust daily workflow among work areas to meet operational goals.
- Audit work for 100% accuracy and ensure any discrepancies are corrected prior to completion.
- Ensure successful completion of order picking order packing and stock replenishment activities.
- Perform varied tasks requiring independent judgment and the ability to apply knowledge to a wide range of situations.
