As an Account Executiveyoullwork closely with architects designers business owners and contractors to bring high-quality flooring solutions to life. This individual will cover accounts inMiamiDade County.This role will have a heavy focus on Corporate Workplace Multifamily segments.Candidates should bring a strong prospecting and business development skillset with a demonstrated ability to generate new opportunities and build a consistent pipeline. Success in this role requires comfortoperatingwithin a structured sales process (SPPM) to qualify prospects advance opportunities and drive new business growth.
Responsibilities:
Work with architects designers flooring contractors end users contractors etc. to selectappropriate productsfor their projects that fit within their design criteriabudgetandtime frame.
Travel daily throughoutassignedarea to call on existing customers and prospect new customers tosolicitbusiness.
Manage project frominceptionto completion including identifying opportunity product selection specification order placement order tracking delivery coordination installation oversight punch walk/ claim coordination (if necessary) and communication of maintenance program.
Must be motivated and comfortable working and supporting a closely knit team environment.
Must be able and competent to work with and manage customer base thru CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool such as
Follow up on a variety of leads from sources such as Dodge & networking groups
Build relationships with existing and new customers by entertaining such as lunchesdinnersorspecial events.
Commercial Account Executives must implement the selling process in his/her area; they must have the ability to make good judgment decisions. A full understanding of the product line is essential. Furthermore an understanding of the application that each product serves is critical. The ability to interface/communicate with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner isa must. The ideal candidate willpossessa flexible personality and be able to communicate clearly to otherpersons both orally and in written form. Commercial Account Executives must give presentations to architects designers and end-users to educate them on the flooring industry and how Shaw Contract canbenefitthem on their projects.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
5 yearscommercial interiorsexperience
Demonstrated success in new business development including prospecting pipeline creation and securing new accounts to expand territory presence.
Living inMiami Dade
Experience calling oncommercialA&D flooring contractors & end use channels
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
