Oncology is a 41-bed unit at Mercy Hospital St. Louis providing compassionate innovative care to patients and families facing cancer and complex medical needs. Our nurses deliver inpatient chemotherapy palliative and endof-life care while supporting patients with diverse diagnoses such as wound management and respiratory failure. Team members also gain experience with clinical research and investigational therapies working alongside specialists developing and advancing new cancer treatments. Position Details:

Oncology Nursing (Inpatient) Mercy Hospital St Louis

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Full-time or Part-time Day Shift or Night Shift

Up to $10000 NO CONTRACT sign-on incentive for RNs

Up to $2000 NO CONTRACT sign-on incentive for LPNs

Shift Differential Pay: Evenings Nights Weekends

Stay Pay Program $2/hr on productive time (24/7 bedside eligible) at 2 5 10 and 20 years (up to $8/hr)

LPN RN Bridge Program Assistance (up to $10000)

RN BSN Bridge Program (up to $16000)

Student Loan Forgiveness up to $20000

Tuition Reimbursement up to $2000 annually for continuing education

PTO begins accruing immediately (including a volunteer day!)

Qualifications:

RN Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school; BSN preferred

  • License: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association

LPN Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Preferred Experience: 1 yr LPN experience

  • Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements

  • Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

  • LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire
