Caretaker

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Thurrock to assist with the appointment of a Caretaker on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 89.35 - 117.82 per day

Summary:

Caretaker / Cleaner role supporting the upkeep of low-rise residential properties and surrounding areas. The position involves general cleaning basic maintenance and ensuring communal spaces are clean safe and well-presented.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning of communal areas including corridors stairwells and entrances.
• Undertake general caretaking duties across low-rise properties.
• Perform mobile caretaking duties across multiple sites when required.
• Manage waste disposal including bin handling and litter picking.
• Report maintenance issues and health & safety concerns.
• Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in cleaning or caretaking roles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Reliable punctual and physically fit for the role.

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
