Job Summary

PositionSummary:TheRegionalSales Manageris responsible formanaging and coordinating the sale of company products ina large domestic areathrough channels ofdistributionensuring target sales achievement and total customer 4Front products to the distribution channel and potential industrial market rolemaintainsaconcentrated focusinairportmanufacturingautomotive (retail and mfg.) chemical cold storagecontrolledenvironmentsfood processingandpublictransit witharchitectsdesignbuild firms developers distributorsengineers and generalcontractors.

  1. Description ofEssential Job Functions:

  • Monitor performance of eacharea/regionand act to correct deficiencies.

  • Devise sales strategies to increase/retainmarket penetrationandsales sales motivation programs.

  • Represent the organization withkey accounts or important potential clientswhere such contact iscritical to the achievement ofsales objectives.

  • Travel as necessary to customer locations to perform sales calls site surveys customer satisfaction visits installation supervision etc.

  • Contact customersand prospective customerstodeterminetheir needs and degree of interest and satisfaction with company products.

  • Monitor competitor sales efforts and strategies ensuring market intelligence is passed totheMarketing function.

  • Prepare complete project proposals including equipment installation freight & responsible foraccurateand competitive proposal deliveryin a timely mannerto the customer.

  • Review and approve non-standard quotes or bids.

  • Provide liaison with production and engineering functions to ensure on-time delivery and resolution of any technical related problems.

  • Coordinate sales efforts witharchitects consultantsdevelopersdistributorsgeneralcontractorsetc.

  • Coordinate projects from start to finish including quoting order entry submittals installation and final inspection.

  • Responsible for the management and coordination of the installationportionofcapital equipment salesprojects with the help of thecustomerservice team and working in conjunction with subcontractors.

  • Develop and ensure implementation of policies procedures and quality standards and monitoring systems to track issues and compliance.

  • Plan and ensureoptimumuse of resources with distributors toattainassigned targets andobjectives.

  1. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing sales business administration or related disciplinepreferred.

  • 3-5years ofexperience insellingcapital equipment industrial goods or related products.

  • Proven success record in exceeding revenueandmarginbudget goals.

Computer Skills

  • Ability to use a personal computerutilizingspreadsheet and word processing software applications databases and automated systems toaccomplishwork.

  • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word Excel Project and PowerPoint preferred.

  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Other Qualifications Experience or Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to50%if necessary.

  • Requires a validpassport andmotor vehicle operators license and the ability tooperatea motor vehicle while carefullyobservingall traffic rules and regulations.

  • Requires the ability to use a variety of office/production related equipment such as a telephoneandphotocopier.

  • Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may berequiredasworkloador projects dictate including weekends and holidays.
