Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Driving Role Patrol in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will assist customers and store teams with clear communication report concerns and support a welcoming shopping experience. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and guests at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor entrances and exits back-of-house areas and parking perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor and report suspicious behavior possible theft activity and policy violations and communicate observations to store management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation and use radios and/or other communication tools to support coverage and coordinate response across the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
