Job Description
As a Security Guard - Driving Role Patrol in Manhattan Beach CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location you will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support guests and tenants with clear professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients tenants retailers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas exterior walkways service corridors and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disputes medical situations alarms and requests for assistance and communicate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points loading and receiving areas and restricted spaces helping to verify authorized entry manage visitor direction and support crowd and foot-traffic flow during peak hours and special events.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation and report hazards suspicious activity and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
