Job Summary
Vigilant Protection Services is seeking Full-Time Armed and Unarmed Security Officers for a Private Dance Hall. We are looking for professional vigilant individuals who can maintain a safe secure and orderly environment for our guests and staff.
The Role
In a dance hall setting security is centered on proactive safety and crowd management. Your goal is to ensure that members can enjoy the music and atmosphere without disruption requiring a balance of a firm presence and a professional attitude.
Available Positions
- Level II (Unarmed): Focus on floor monitoring crowd safety and providing a visible deterrent against disruptive behavior.
- Level III (Commissioned): High-level site protection emergency response and proactive floor monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Monitoring: Conduct continuous patrols of the dance floor common areas and exterior perimeters to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Incident Response: Calmly and effectively de-escalate verbal or physical disputes to maintain a peaceful environment.
- Professional Presence: Maintain an authoritative yet professional stance to discourage unauthorized activity or rule infractions.
- Emergency Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for emergency situations including medical needs or security breaches.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports via our companys digital reporting tools.
Requirements
- Licensing: Valid Texas Private Security License (Level II or Level III).
- Professionalism: Exceptional grooming standards and strong interpersonal skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and patrol for the duration of a shift in a dynamic environment.
- Integrity: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliability: Dependable transportation and a commitment to scheduled evening and weekend shifts.
