Job Summary
This open position is located in the Sandy and Estacada Oregon area specifically at the Portland Hydroelectric and Stone Creek Hydroelectric Projects. Independently perform preventative/unscheduled maintenance and daily monitoring activities at the hydroelectric facilities. This could include plant startup manual shutdown and re-start. Be capable of installing new equipment and replacement components and possess a broad range of maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Have some knowledge of regulatory requirements and applicable policies and procedures. Normally receives daily direction from the Supervisor but must be capable of making decisions independently
Principal Accountabilities
Independently perform preventative/unscheduled maintenance and monitoring activities at the Portland and Stone Creek Hydroelectric Projects. This could include plant startups manual shutdowns and re-starts. Be capable of installing new equipment and replacement components and possess a broad range of maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Have some knowledge of regulatory requirements and applicable policies and procedures. Normally receives daily direction from the Supervisor but must be capable of making decisions independently.
Skills and Experience
- General knowledge in the mechanical and electrical systems.
- Must be capable of utilizing Microsoft Office and the related word processing systems
- Be familiar with/or willing to learn the work management system (faciliworks)
- Normal assignment requires rudimentary knowledge of fire prevention techniques and First Aid training
- A valid drivers license is required
- Describe equipment machinery tools materials work-aids material utilized in performance of job. Hand tools electric drills skill/table saws chain saws some hydraulic and air tools electrical test equipment cranes Pickup truck forklift. Other tools and equipment.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED and completion of a one year trade school and at least 10 years of experience in operations maintenance electrical mechanical and/or instrumentation at an operating generating facility
- Additional experience may be considered in lieu of trade school.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $64.72 to $87.82/hr
