Were looking for an experienced Technical Compliance Manager to lead food safety quality and compliance across our Milton Keynes and Bedford sites. Reporting to the Group Technical Manager youll play a key role in maintaining our high standards ensuring audit readiness driving continuous improvement and supporting our mission to produce safe legal and exceptional products.
What Youll Be Doing
As Technical Compliance Manager you will:
- Lead and coordinate BRC customer and thirdparty audits ensuring successful preparation delivery and followup
- Own and enhance the site Quality Management System including risk assessments validations and procedural governance
- Provide expert guidance on legal customer and thirdparty technical standards
- Manage technical KPIs trend data and report performance insights to drive improvements
- Oversee the internal audit programme ensuring it delivers clear and impactful continuous improvement
- Lead compliance activities around food safety allergen control HACCP traceability and supplier assurance
- Champion and maintain the sites HACCP VACCP/TACCP allergen and recall/incident management plans
- Support mass balance exercises microbiological monitoring and testing programmes (nutritional micro allergen water)
- Own the NCR system and drive effective corrective and preventative actions
- Coach train and develop technical and operational teams promoting strong compliance culture
- Build strong crossfunctional relationships and support customer visits and nonconformance closure
- Lead and develop your direct reports across nonfactory technical functions
