As a Security Officer - Badge Check Patrol in Sunnyvale TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents and support a welcoming experience through clear communication and customer service. You will document observations respond to concerns and partner with site teams to address day-to-day needs. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers tenants and/or staff by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas corridors entrances and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas observe for suspicious behavior and assist with queue management and/or loss-prevention support as directed by site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed and documenting actions taken.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports communicate key observations to on-site management and/or Allied Universal leadership and support customer requests such as directions and tenant assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 years of security experience is required.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
