Job Summary:
This position serves in the Adult Medicine Emergency and Surgery Pharmacy Division which provides comprehensive pharmacy services to all adult patients at JHH with the exception of oncology patients specifically with the divisions perioperative services. Applicants are preferred to have completed or be in the process of completing an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency program or have equivalent experience. This Clinical Pharmacist 1 is responsible for working collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care teams to promote the safe and effective use of medications during the medication order review and verification process as well as addressing clinical pharmacy questions and concerns. Additional responsibilities for the position include: medication management emergency code response care coordination drug information response and education to students residents pharmacists other health care practitioners and patients and family members. There is not typically a routine rounding component to this position.
Qualifications:
Salary Range: Minimum $51.79 /hour - Maximum $85.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
