Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced welder to support a special 6090 day project in a local manufacturing facility.
Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a skilled Welder Fabricator for a short-term project. You will work with the maintenance team to build and install metal parts and safety guards for industrial equipment. This role is perfect for a motivated worker who takes pride in producing high-quality clean welds.
Responsibilities
Build and manufacture metal parts and safety guards for industrial machines
Use MIG and Arc welding methods to create clean polished welds
Measure materials accurately and read blueprints and welding symbols
Repair and install safety guarding throughout the facility
Perform quality tests on welds and paint finished assemblies
Use various hand tools like grinders drills and saws safely
Keep the work area clean and follow all safety rules
Requirements
Previous experience with welding and metal fabrication
Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols
Strong skills in MIG and Arc welding methods
Experience finishing and grinding metals
Good basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow lockout-tagout safety procedures
English language proficiency
Work Environment
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to crouch or bend for long periods while working
Must be able to lift heavy equipment occasionally
Work is performed in an active maintenance and production environment
