Job Summary
Welder
Primary Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team! The Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components for production and facility operation.
Job Description:
- First Shift schedule is 5:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday
- Prepares welding equipment for operation by making equipment setup adjustments; assisting with equipment changeovers.
- Fabricate new or replacement parts for production and assemble component parts using hand and small power tools.
- Maintains quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection and making equipment adjustments.
- Ensures accurate machine operation by making equipment adjustments; referring questions to the supervisor.
- Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Other responsibilities to be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed
- 2 years previous experience as a Welder - preferred not required
- Experience working with steel materials
- Blueprint reading (a plus but not required)
- Strong math skills (a plus but not required)
- Forklift experience (a plus but not required)
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
