Shift Production Supervisor

Position Title: Shift Production Supervisor

Reports To: Site Manager

Location: Gleason Tennessee

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Directs and coordinates the activities of production shift operations so that production efforts are achieved in accordance with requirements. Ensure that all direct staff comply with the company Environmental Health and Safety procedures.

JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS

• Will work 2nd shift

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee activities of shift personnel that all work is done in a safe manner

• Monitor production processes to ensure environmental compliance

• Serve as management representative for all matters on off shifts

• Coordinate production activities to meet production schedule

• Assist personnel with trouble shooting production and maintenance difficulties

• Prepare and process production documents and maintain records

• Ensure all production processes are performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

• Support personnel by ensuring all needed tools and supplies are in place

• Oversee other projects and trials as directed by management

• Report all activities and situations requiring management involvement

• Assist in development of direct reports

Education and Experience requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in business engineering or a related discipline or minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

SPECIFIC ASPECTS

Physical demands require climbing stairs and ladders ability to lift objects less than 70 lbs.; Exposure to dust noise and seasonal temperature changes in an outdoor environment; Extensive walking (over even and uneven ground) standing bending and lifting.
