Unit Function:JAC is to prepare generate and sustain Battlefield Helicopter and Unmanned Avn to meet UK Fixed and Responsive Tasks capable of interoperability with key partners. The JAC will support the JEF with Avn C2 LIFT ATTACK and FIND capability
Position Role: The focal point for all Air Safety training within JAC and HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Assist SO2 Safety Promotion & Training in developing and implementing JAC AS and HFEM training policy
- Liaise with JAC units the Centre of Air Safety Training (COaST) Military Aviation Authority Safety Training Error Prevention (STEP) and the Defence Aviation Human Factors Training School over the planning provision and allocation of all AS and HFEM training for JAC personnel.
- Issue Joining Instructions for all JAC locally run training courses and ensure that these courses are fully loaded.
- Manage course training records and competency recording.
- Keep track of course funding and spending for the current financial year.
- Be prepared to liaise with the RAF and RN over shared course resources in particular for any OoA / individual augmentees as required.
- As the HQ STEP Manger manage STEP and HFEM training requirements for all HQ JAC personnel
