Job Summary

Are you looking for a new challenge or an opportunity to make a real difference to communities across the East Midlands We are looking for highly motivated confident and enthusiastic people to join our team and help manage our flood risk assets (such as flood walls embankments and flood storage areas) to reduce flood risk to people and properties throughout the East Midlands.

In this role you will help manage our asset data to ensure it is of the best quality and can be relied upon to inform our future investment programme and make evidence-based decisions across our asset management activities. You will also assist other members of the team to prepare basic reports identify concerns and provide a first level response to support asset management activities and decisions.

You will use your excellent communication skills to co-ordinate and chase responses to correspondence and enquiries ensuring that internal and external information is effectively processed and tracked to ensure compliance with Environment Agency policy and procedure. You will alsoact as a point of contact working with peers internally and local contacts externally to help minimise the risks associated with our assets.

You will also work within the team to operate and maintain data and information systems effectively. Youll ensure records are stored accurately are up to date and readily accessible to facilitate team activities.
