Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Senior Analyst Accounting.

Purpose:

This position is responsible for providing general accounting and administrative support within the finance department. The role includes conducting account analysis for balance sheet and income statement items reviewing and verifying financial transactions related to inventory and COGS overseeing audits and identifying and resolving discrepancies in accounting reports. Additional duties involve preparing balance sheets profit and loss statements and consolidated financial reports handling monthly departmental closings updating accounting system processes policies and procedures and investigating complex accounting issues to recommend solutions.

You will be responsible for:

The position supports inventory and costs processes coordinates activities assigned to other team members and serves as the focal point for projects and initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

Supporting GSF Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects
Assisting with Blackline reconciliation and general accounting processes
Understanding accounting technical requirements
Applying controls relevant to the process
Supporting automation and finance improvement initiatives within the inventory and costs process for the team
Participating in special projects including technical and new business initiatives as assigned
Ensuring accuracy of General Ledger accounting entries and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP compliance standards internal audit and SOX requirements

Qualifications / Requirements:

Proficiency in office tools
Understanding of general accounting processes
SAP knowledge and experience
4-5 years of accounting experience; shared services experience is preferred
Upper intermediate level of English proficiency
Soft skills including leadership teamwork connection strong communication and effective stakeholder management

Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication abilities
Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
Compliance knowledge including SOX and internal controls
Experience working in a matrix environment
Analytical skills and logical thinking
Knowledge of other SAP modules
Knowledge of inventory and costs accounting processes
