Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Facility Patrol in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist students faculty staff and visitors with courteous service clear communication and timely reporting. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following site-specific policies and completing required security-related documentation and/or reports.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and calls for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency services as required.
- Monitor access points and key locations for unauthorized entry policy violations and/or suspicious behavior taking appropriate actions consistent with post orders.
- Assist with emergency response activities such as evacuations and/or shelter-in-place procedures providing direction to occupants and supporting incident coordination as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
