The Knares Medical Practice is looking for areliable and experienced Locum GP to join their busy practice covering Fridays 9:30-6:00 including an unpaid lunch break 1-2pm - hours may vary depending on practice needs. There will also be the opportunity to workadditional variable daysas needed.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality primary care services to our patient population while working collaboratively with the wider practice team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient-centred clinical care to registered patients.
- Conduct face-to-face telephone and online consultations as required.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in line with clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with NHS and practice policies.
- Maintain accurate contemporaneous patient records using the practice clinical system.
- Participate in safeguarding and follow relevant protocols where necessary.
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals and external agencies when appropriate.
- Support continuity of care and contribute to safe clinical decision-making.
The role may include a mixture of routine appointments urgent consultations and administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Fully qualified GP withGMC registration and licence to practice.
- Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
- Evidence ofindemnity cover.
- Experience working in UK General Practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
