Job Summary

Assist maintenance personnel covering mechanical electrical civil and other trades. Assemble and transport materials handling equipment. Assist with installation maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical plant and office equipment and appliances. Carry out site preparations and assist in activities such as drain cleaning concrete laying partitioning and shuttering erection. May be assigned to a specific trade area and carry out some of the more routine aspects of that trade activity e.g. routine lubrication of production equipment and pulling of electrical wiring. May use a variety of simple trade tools such as pipe benders spanners and glass cutters.
