Job Summary
Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our specialty team with a permanent night schedule. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and is looking to balance work with personal commitments.
Schedule: 12 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced clinical care in a specialized area of medicine overnight.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments develop treatment plans and implement therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and JHH protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as an Advanced Practice Provider (Adult Gero Acute Care NP required or PA) with relevant specialization in General Surgery.
- Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferably in a specialty area.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- New graduate APPs welcome. RN General Surgery experience preferred.
- Experience in general surgery preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15/hour - Maximum 82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
