Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Sentinel in Phoenix AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns document observations and deliver customer-focused communication with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to alarms incidents and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document events per site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor entry points assist with access control for employees visitors and vendors and help to deter unauthorized access into restricted areas.
- Complete routine security-related reports including patrol logs incident reports and shift handoff notes and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
