Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening for a 310T Licensed Mechanic located primarily at our plant in Ayr Ontario. Consideration will also be given to 3rd or 4th year apprentices.
What Youll Be Doing
- Inspect diagnose and repair heavy trucks trailers and mobile equipment to maintain safe and reliable operation.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and support production needs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Complete maintenance and repair work efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards.
- Document inspections maintenance and repairs accurately and in a timely manner.
What Are We Looking For
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair heavy truck and mobile equipment systems.
- Strong safety mindset with the ability to follow established procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Effective communication and organizational skills to support daily operations.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment background check.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $39.20 per hour.
