Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Harlingen TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location including sales floor entrances back-of-house areas and exterior perimeter as assigned.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with disturbances medical calls and lost and found situations per post orders.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and policy violations and help to deter theft and/or property damage through high-visibility presence and timely communication with site leadership and/or local authorities when directed.
- Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports and communicate relevant observations during shift handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
