Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Redmond WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-impact aerospace and defense location as an Armed Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to alarms and access control needs. Working with a team that is agile reliable and innovative you will deliver strong customer service clear communication and integrity-driven reporting on every shift.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal post orders applicable laws and site requirements helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including incident documentation and timely notification to site leadership and/or public authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production areas access points and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access by verifying identification monitoring visitor and vehicle entry and coordinating with on-site personnel for deliveries contractors and restricted area entry.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
