Job Summary
A highly regarded independent school in Reading is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join its dedicated staff team from April. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive Cover Supervisor to work within a supportive and well-structured independent school environment.
The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 ensuring students remain engaged and on task in the absence of the class teacher.

The Role
The school is looking for a confident Cover Supervisor who can manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence.
Key responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor include:
Supervising lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4
Ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set by teaching staff
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Providing feedback to teachers on student engagement and progress
Supporting the wider school where required
