About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5. You will deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and develop strong mathematical understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5)
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Supporting pupils in developing problem-solving and analytical skills
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Preparing pupils for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations
Contributing to curriculum development within the department
Supporting intervention programmes or extracurricular maths activities
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Be confident teaching across multiple key stages
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be passionate about improving pupil outcomes in Maths
Work effectively within a collaborative team
