Senior Backend Engineer with cloud experience (Stockholm, EU only)

What youll do

• Building optimizing and scaling robust financial backend systems using and SQL (Postgres)

• Working primarily in the backend while contributing to our cloud infrastructure helping design and operate systems across networking servers and database architectures to support scalable and reliable services.

• Contributing to system architecture to ensure scalability reliability and long-term maintainability of financial systems.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape both product direction and business strategy.

• Sharing backend expertise with the team while promoting best practices along with strong cloud and infrastructure competence.

Our main stack is TypeScript React React Native running on Google Cloud Platform.

• Have solid experience building backend systems with and working with cloud platforms such as GCP.

• Care about craftsmanship performance and reliability in the systems you build.

• Want to build and improve products not just maintain.

Youre comfortable with things like:

• Strong background in backend development with and SQL databases (preferably Postgres).

• Experience in designing deploying and monitoring solutions on major cloud platforms such as GCP AWS or Azure.

• At least 5 years of professional experience ideally in high-stakes environments like finance.

• Passionate about solving complex backend problems with clean pragmatic solutions.

• Solid understanding of system design and architecture.

• Bonus if youve worked with React Python Go GraphQL Kubernetes or DevOps with Github Actions.

• EU work authorization required.
