Join our dynamic team within the CAE Unit at BMW TechWorks India where you will play a key role in supporting BMWs vehicle development through cutting-edge digital product engineering. You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of surface models conducting simulation analyses and ensuring high-quality engineering data for vehicle development. This is your chance to contribute to innovative automotive solutions in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What should you bring along	A degree in Automotive Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Simulation Technology or a related field. Experience with CAD systems especially CATIA and finite element (FE) methods. Knowledge of vehicle modeling load case generation and simulation tools (e.g. LS-DYNA PAM-CRASH) is an advantage. Experience with automation tools and scripting to optimize processes. A structured independent work style and strong teamwork skills. Good command of English.
Must have technical skill	Proficiency in CAD modeling and FE data handling. Ability to create and maintain surface models using automation tools and manual construction following design guidelines. Experience in conducting simulation model analyses and validation against test data. Skills in building and debugging load case models with integration of vehicle-specific components. Capability to assemble and refine complex full vehicle and occupant models including deformable body models. Quality control of model updates and variant studies including uploading to simulation systems and generating standard evaluations. Coordination of CAD and FE model adaptations and ensuring timely delivery of compliant vehicle assemblies. FE meshing positioning and connection of electrical components and wiring including collision checks and model validations. Preparation of parameters includes and simulation reports according to specifications.
Good to have Technical skills	Experience with scripting languages for automation and process optimization. Familiarity with specific simulation software such as LS-DYNA and PAM-CRASH. Knowledge of CAE simulation methodologies and vehicle dynamics.
