Job Summary

Vermont State University seeks applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position in the School of Business and Professional Studies to begin in August 2026. This position will be based at the Castleton campus.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The new faculty member will be expected to teach a variety of business courses including but not limited to Management Marketing and Finance.

In addition to teaching and research faculty at VTSU are expected to participate in and contribute to university committees scholarship and professional development student advising service to the college community development of curriculum and educational facilities as needed and other duties related to teaching effectiveness scholarship and service to the university community.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate will have earned an MBA or related field combined with at least three years of significant experience and should have previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Candidates with experience teaching in a variety of modalities (in-person face-to-face-plus asynchronous online) are encouraged to apply.

Salary

Based on qualifications and experience as defined by VSC-VSCFF Bargaining Unit this agreement the minimum salary for an Assistant Professor will be not less than $57500 USD per annum plus a comprehensive benefit and retirement package.
