Role Summary
The iScala Administrator is responsible for the administration monitoring maintenance and operational support of the Infor iScala ERP application. The role focuses on ensuring system stability availability security and performance across production and non production environments while coordinating with functional infrastructure DBA and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities
iScala Application Administration
Administer and support Infor iScala ERP across Production UAT QA and Dev environments.
Manage iScala application services background processes schedulers and batch jobs.
Perform proactive system monitoring log analysis and health checks.
Ensure high availability performance and reliability of the iScala application.
User & Security Administration
Environment & Release Management
Database & Infrastructure Coordination
Interfaces & Batch Operations Support
Incident Problem & Change Management
Documentation & Operational Governance
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Skills
Experience supporting ERP applications with strong exposure to Infor iScala Administration.
Strong understanding of application architecture and components.
Hands-on experience with:
o User and security administration
o Job scheduling and batch monitoring
o Multi-environment ERP landscapes
Working knowledge of SQL Server (monitoring validation troubleshooting).
Technical Skills
Experience with:
o Windows / Unix / Linux environments (as applicable)
o Database coordination (not development)
o Log analysis and system monitoring
Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow Remedy etc.).
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience supporting iScala upgrades or migrations.
Exposure to ERP integrations and middleware platforms.
Knowledge of SOX / audit / compliance requirements.
Experience in global or multi country ERP environments.
ITIL certification or ITIL-based support experience.
Soft Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively with functional infra DBA and vendor teams.
Clear communication and documentation skills.
Comfortable working in production support and AMS environments.
Willingness to support on-call or critical business activities when required.
