Tasks
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager (Associate Level) to support and accelerate business development and sales activities across QAI Ventures Corporate Value Creation offering with Industry Clusters as a central component.
This role will work closely with senior team members to drive commercial momentum supporting origination progressing opportunities and contributing to the successful delivery of engagements with corporate partners. The role is hands-on client-facing and designed for someone looking to grow quickly within a high-impact global platform.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Support business development and sales efforts across QAI Ventures Corporate Value Creation offering including Industry Clusters
Assist senior team members in originating qualifying and progressing opportunities with corporate partners
Translate commercial discussions into structured client-ready proposals presentations and formal offers ensuring disciplined follow-up through to deal progression
Support preparation execution and follow-up of sales meetings and commercial discussions
Contribute to shaping clear compelling value propositions tailored to corporate needs and sector-specific challenges
Corporate Engagement & Sector Exposure
Engage with corporates across multiple industry sectors with a strong focus on Financial Services Life Sciences and Industrials
Build a strong working understanding of sector-specific challenges priorities and technology use cases
Support interactions with senior corporate stakeholders alongside senior team members
Help translate emerging technologies into business-relevant value creation narratives
CRM & Commercial Process
Manage and maintain the CRM pipeline ensuring accurate tracking of leads opportunities and corporate relationships
Take structured ownership of proposal development internal coordination (scope pricing timelines) and commercial documentation from first discussion to signed engagement
Support reporting on pipeline health deal progression and commercial performance
Contribute to improving structure discipline and visibility across the BD and sales process
Supporting Delivery of Corporate Value Creation
Support the senior team in the delivery of corporate and cluster-related engagements ensuring commercial commitments are followed through
Support the execution of Industry Cluster activities and contribute to the preparation of marketing materials and structured market intelligence to strengthen corporate engagement
Assist with onboarding new corporate partners and supporting long-term relationships
Act as a reliable execution partner across commercial and client-facing activities
Requirements
Who You Are
- 4 years of experience in **business development sales consulting corporate strategy venture capital or innovation-focused roles
** - Comfortable working across multiple industry sectors particularly Financial Services Life Sciences and Industrials
- Ideally prior exposure to one or more of these sectors; if not you are confident getting deep into new industries quickly and have the skillset to do so
- Able to structure complex discussions into high-quality written deliverables with strong execution discipline and attention to commercial detail
- Commercially minded structured and proactive
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and structured sales processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in professional client-facing settings
- Based in Europe and comfortable workinh remotely with an international team
