Serves as willing cooperative informative supportive guide for new employees. Minimum expectations for all the SPD contractors is to have a bioburden error rate of .1% or less on a monthly basis and a tray average (100 instruments per tray) of 20 per day. Ratio / Census: 15 rooms with average surgical volume of 25-40; daily tray volume is approximately 224 Unit Systems: SPM System Scrub Color: Provided by the facility RTO: MAX 7 days RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Yes within sectors of SPD Call Requirements: Rare Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
