This is a contingent position based upon contract award anticipated in June 2027
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Deputy Program Manager to join our team supporting a government client with locations in the Northern Virginia Area.
Key Responsibilities:
Fully coordinate and collaborate on all tasks activities requirements and issues as they pertain to the support of the Customer
Identify issues and adapt program plans according to the Customer feedback on program cost performance quality schedule and risk.
Develop plans and schedules and define and document the implementation of requirements
Use established program management procedures to monitor cost schedule inventory and performance; assess variances of the plan and take necessary corrective action.
Review and clarify contract requirements as they are dispensed from the requirements management tool and propose cleared qualified personnel to expeditiously fulfill the requirements
Identify potential downstream issues that may negatively affect meeting requirements and provide recommendations to mitigate negative impacts
Manage customer expectations with proactive consistent and transparent communication.
Ensure continuity of support with contractor personnel changes and approving of staffing alignments /allocations
Interface with the CO COTR and Government leadership on behalf of the PM as required
Manage and implement the PMP
Oversee the Contractors Environmental Health and Safety functions ensuring that all safe work practices are being followed
Oversee the coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods procedures and programs
Oversee the monitoring and inspecting of maintenance repair and service operations for quality control and contract compliance
Qualifications
Required:
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
Must be a US Citizen
5 years or program management experience with large complex requirements associated with operations and sustainment functions
Bachelors degree in Facility Management Engineering Business Administration or similar
Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including but not limited to: project schedule scope cost risk and deliverables and related metrics
Familiarity and willingness to manage a 24/7/365 operational environment
Highly effective organizational interpersonal communication and group leadership skills
Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment demonstrating solid independent judgment
Ability to interpret capture and manage customer requirements and expectations
Experience managing facility management operations and sustainment projects.
Desired:
PMP or equivalent certifications in quality control or assurance experience with managing secure facilities.
Management experience with P&L responsibility
