Job Title: Talent & Capability Consultant
Contract Type: 12-month FTC
Location: London or Alderley Park
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Were looking for a Talent & Capability Consultant to join the Royal London Talent & Capability team on a 12month fixed-term basis. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping how we identify develop and grow talent across the organisation.
Reporting to the Talent & Capability Director youll work closely with People Team colleagues leaders and external partners to deliver practical insightled talent solutions aligned to Royal Londons strategic priorities.
What youll be doing
- Contributing to the evolution of our Talent & Capability strategy to support a futureready workforce
- Providing expert advice and thought leadership on talent development and succession planning
- Leading elements of the groupwide talent and succession planning cycle
- Designing and delivering development propositions for highpotential and senior leader populations
- Managing talent programmes cohorts and executive coaching suppliers
- Using talent insight and external benchmarking to inform priorities and continuous improvement
- Owning projects endtoend from design through to delivery
About you
Youll bring strong experience in talent and organisational development within a commercial environment along with:
- Excellent partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Experience designing delivering and evaluating development solutions
- Strong project and portfolio management capability
- Creative and confident written verbal and presentation skills
- Coaching capability and a collaborative working style
- Experience working in a matrixed HR model (private sector experience desirable)
