Job Title: Performance Test Engineer JMeter

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing executing and analysing performance tests to ensure our applications deliver high scalability reliability and responsiveness. You will collaborate closely with development DevOps and QA teams to ensure seamless system performance in production-like environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust performance test strategies using JMeter tailored to application requirements
Develop maintain and optimize performance test scripts for web and API-driven applications
Execute various types of performance tests including load stress endurance and scalability testing
Analyze test results identify performance bottlenecks and work with teams to implement corrective actions
Collaborate with development DevOps and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
Monitor system performance using tools such as Grafana InfluxDB New Relic or Dynatrace
Prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Continuously improve performance testing processes tools and frameworks to ensure enhanced coverage and efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

7 years of hands-on experience in performance testing
Strong experience with JMeter for performance test scripting and execution
Proven expertise in conducting load stress endurance and scalability tests
Solid understanding of web protocols (HTTP HTTPS REST SOAP) and API testing
Experience analyzing system metrics and diagnosing performance issues
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana InfluxDB New Relic or Dynatrace
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including development DevOps and QA
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to stakeholders
